Fall Tryouts will be for our Sideline Team, as well as our Traditional Competitive Cheer Team (TCC)

Aug 26     Tues  Sideline (5-5:45pm) / TCC (5:45-7:30pm)

Aug 28     Thurs  Sideline (5-5:45pm) / TCC (5:45-7:30pm)

Aug 29     Friday Team Placements announced

Do YOU want to be a Westmont Cheerleader?

Step 1: Complete paperwork

• Read the Cheer Handbook and Tryout Packet (to be uploaded after Pre-Season meeting)

• Complete the 4 required ONLINE tryout forms

• Send Progress Report to Coach Mia

• Coach Mia/Andrew will send out weekly Tryout Paperwork Checks

STEP 2: LEARN MATERIAl And/or prepare stunts

• Tryout material will be posted on Monday August 25th

• Fight Song is to be learned by BOTH Sideline & TCC Candidates

• TCC Stunt Tryouts: 

• 1. Inversion Skill

• 2. Spinning Skill

• 3. Switch up to Stretch, Full Down

• TCC Motion Tryouts:

• Fight Song

• Both Sideline and TCC athletes

• Double TT, & Pike & Hurdler

• Best Standing Tumbling, Best Running Tumbling

• Stunts are required for TCC Tryouts

WE HAVE OPEN TRYOUTS THROUGHOUT THE CHEER SEASONS AS FOLLOWS:

• FOR BASKETBALL SIDELINE: TRYOUT BY November 21, 2025

• FOR CSC (STUNT TEAM): TRYOUT BY January 30, 2026
